    Ok, heres the problem. I wanted to un-install my Internet Explorer 7 so I went to:

    Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Components

    I left everything unchecked except Internet Explorer, because I wanted to remove it & then I was gonna reinstall IE6. So now when I restarted, I'm missing my CD drives & my paint & wordpad!

    Please help me fix it. Thank you.

    Stunt--
    I think you went one window too far. You should have removed IE7 from
    Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
    Now go back to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Components
    Can you check the boxes for the Windows programs you have removed, then Next and follow the instructions? With luck that should reinstall them.
    The drives, however, are not Windows programs. Are they not reinstalled /recognized when you reboot?

    One sec...

    Wait, so what do I check. Because the last time I checked Internet Explorer but nothing else, it's not removed. But then wordpad, paint & my drives got removed. So tell me exactly what I check to get it back. Thank you. :)

    What OS are you running? Your CD drives should be recognized when you reboot. Have you tried going into device manager and looking at the status of them?

    Stunt - Welcome to the Board :)

    I think the simplest way of fixing your problem is to use System Restore to restore your computer to a point before you tried to uninstall IE 7 and then uninstall IE 7 through Add/Remove programs - be sure to tick the updates box at the top of the window.
