A Drive

    I am using windows 98se and the problem is the A drive keeps telling me that
    there is a locked utility which prevents me backing anything up or using it at all.
    Help Please.

    Hello Ruth,

    Does this happen in Safe Mode? Tap the F8 key on bootup.

    If it does not, there is an application that is doing this. Then start shutting then down one by one while in normal mode.

    An easy way to see if the floppy is working is use a bootable floppy and try to boot off it. If it works then its a Windows problem
