ipconfig problem

    I am trying to run ipconfig.exe on windows XP. the box flashes up for a split second then its gone. Any ideas?

    welcome to Windows BBS ... :) ... !

    I assume that you attempt to run ipconfig directly from the Run box, right? That will produce the result you describe. In the Run box, type in: cmd and hit enter. In the command window that appears, type in: ipconfig and hit enter. That will run the command properly.

    For possible switches, type in: ipconfig /? and hit enter.
