    OK
    I'm dumb !

So, how do you do the following.

    Got computer #1

    Has Outlook Express.

That has a WAB file (the address book).

    There are no entries.

    ******************************************************

We try to delete that WAB - appears to go away but click on another directory - come back to OE and that $%655 WAB is back again.

How can we get rid of it?

    ******************************************************

    We go to computer #2

    It has Outlook Express.

The address book contains over 600 entries. But the WAB file is not too large.

So we copy it to a floppy. Check and it is the latest file.

    ******************************************************
Thke the floppy to computer #1

We do a copy from the floppy and a paste into the OE directory.

(We get the question - want to replace? - remember we couldn't delete it.)

We say yes - and it appears to do so.

But not so ! That &*^% empty Wab file is still in place.

    *******************************************************

Is there any way we can copy the big address book file over to the other computer ?

    Thanks

There is a very easy way. First the Computer with the Addresses. Open the Address Book. Click the FILE at the top left and click Export. Windows will come up asking you where you want to export the address to. Select your Floppy Drive. When done it will tell you it was successful. Make sure you have a Floppy in the Drive.

Now the other computer. Open the Address Book. From FILE select Import. Guide the search to your Floppy Drive. When you get to it, double click the WAB File. Follow the instructions and when it puts all the address into the computer it will indicate "Successful. "

    That's all it takes.
