I am using windows xp and I have a audio/video cd that when I try to play it it says cd is blank. I have played it on a different computer and it works. Could someone help me to find out what the problem might be here.

    Thanks so much!

    - Is it an old CD reader? Maybe the head is slightly out of alignment. Can it read other CDs? Try cleaning the CD itself. This reader could be more sensitive to dust/dirt on the CD.

    - Have you scanned for spyware, adware or viruses?

Thanks for replying. It is not an old drive and all my other cd's play in it. I also have a anti virus on my pc that is active and updates daily.
