Another challenge has presented itself. I write articles for a local magazine and have stored them in a folder in My Documents filed under last modified. I have been using my backup drive lately, as I haven't had time to do a complete reinstall of a damaged WIN XP OS. On this drive, some folders allow me to arrange icons by last modified, but not this folder. It looks more like a music folder, as it allows me to arrange by Name, Size, Title, Artist, Album, Year, Track & Duration. I went into Properties and clicked Customize and switched it from music to documents and hit apply, but nothing changed. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Barry,
On Windows Explorer, try highlighting the folder where you have the files saved. Click on View, then Chose Details. Check the headings you want to display on the file list, uncheck those you don't want. This should work for you.
