Going from Mozilla to new Thunderbird

Hi -- I just had to wipe my hard drive clean, but before I did I used the Backup Util to do an image of my old hard drive. I am trying to use the new Thunderbird email client, but cannot seem to get my old email into the new software. I was using the Netscape Email client (Mozilla) before i wiped the hard drive. I can restore all the .msf files, but I'm not sure where to put them so the software will be able to see them. Many thanks for any/all help.
