Windows Xp-HPScanjet3400C

    I have Windows XP as my operating system and my processor is AMD Athlon 64 bit. I could not install my HP 3400C scanner on it. THe software gets installed in it but when I try to use the scanner it says "Sorry scanner cannot be initialised ". Please let me know if thiere is a compatability problem.

    I would check the HP site for updates for drivers and other updates for the setup application.
