System Restore won't open

I can't seem to get System Restore to open. When I try, I get a box labeled RUNDLL. The message in the box says, An exception occurred while trying to run "C:\WINNT\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C:\WINNT\system32\sysdm.cpl ", System "

This forum solved my computer issue once again! I followed the link pro1driver provided and obtained the information I needed to re-install System Restore. Believe me when I say that I sing the praises of this forum every opportunity I get! Thanks once again for the help.
