Hello, When I re-install Windows XP on my Desktop PC I follow the steps on screen. Once I get to the partition part it allows me to do 3 options, press D to delete a partition, press C to install on a partition, and press F3 to quit. Well if I press them I get a BSoD. The last time I tried I pressed F3 and it gave me the following stop message.
    Any help would be great.

-Most likely a RAM issue. Try re-seating them first, then if multiple sticks, leave
one out and try, then try the other.
    -Check out http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=330181
-Make sure XP CD is OK, maybe try another CD.
-If HD jumper is set for Cable Select, Change to Master or vice-versa.
-Try setting BIOS back to factory defaults.

What would happend if I just used a program like Partition Magic to remove all partitions on the computer. Would that harm the PC at all? That would get rid of all these "Windows" problems I'm having and just be a basic plain computer correct?
