All you have to do is to install two video cards with two monitors. "you might have trouble if the video card are not up to date" After you install the cards and are working right. On you desk top right click go to properties, then the last tab setting. There you will see both monitors and be able to tweak them as you would like them.

    vid card

lewislewis , there are video cards that allow dual monitors. I have used the Matrox G450 & SIS 315. These also have TV out. Cost 'bout $85 & ya use of course, only the AGP slot.

Dual head is the way to go if you can afford it. @ cards is really fiddly. You need one PCI and one AGP, you have to muck around in the BIOS, and not all PCI cards can handle it.

Do it, you'll love it. My son-in-law is a professional photographer. He runs Photoshop in a clean window on one screen, with all the toolbars and other junk on the other.

Dual Head - Its the Bomb!

Yes Dual Head / Dual Monitors is great. - I use it in this config for CAD/CAM.

I have 2 systems set up that way. One uses a Matrox GS450. Other one uses an Appian Graphics - Jeronimo Pro.

Check out the dual head DEMO shockwave at Appian.
