I have a Lexar 256MB Jump Drive with a Recycle Bin called Recycled. Recycled shows what is in the Recycle Bin on the Desktop. If I want to save something that is in the Recycle Bin, I have to move it somewhere, before I empty the Recycle bin, or I empty the Recycled. Both do the same thing. I deleted Recycled from the Jump Drive, but it came back the next time I deleted something from the Jump Drive. None of this is usually fatal unless I forget and Empty the Recycled Before checking the Recycle Bin first. I hope this makes sense. I also hope someone can tell me how to fix this without tying a string around my finger. My memory is not the best. Especially when in a hurry.

If I understand you correctly you should go into Recycle Bin > Properties (right click on the desktop icon > properties) and select 'Configure drives independently' and set the size on the Lexar to zero - the drive must be plugged in to set this.

Thanks PeteC! I set the Recycled to zero. Now when I delete anything from the Lexar Jump Drive, they do not show in Recycled or Recycle Bin. Things that are in the Recycle Bin show in Recycled, but do not seem to use any space in the Lexar Drive. So it seems that what I do now in the Lexar Drive does not effect the Recycle Bin. That was the fix. Thanks again!

    You're welcome :)

An associated tip which you may not be aware of ....

To bypass the Recycle Bin hold down Shift when you press delete.
