Cannot delete messages in Outlook Express

    For some reason, my Outlook Express will not allow me to delete any messages.
    I have 2 identities set up and one works fine and the other randomly will not delete. If I reboot the computer, it will work a couple times, then start not deleting again.
    Any clues?
    I am using Win 98 SE

    Seek out and destroy (delete) the file called Deleted Items.dbx which is probably corrupted. It'll get recreated next time you delete something.

    It's a hidden system file so you have to disable hide hidden files.

    Ok, thanks Steve. Deleted the files and it appears to be working so far.
