    Hi everyone
This problem has been annoying me for awhile now. Any help would be appreciate.
When I try to open a CD in D drive or a disc in A drive I get the message "D or A" is no accessible, incorrect function. CD's no longer auto load and I get this message if I try to open them from My computer or explorer.
My system is has been a little unstable for awhile now and I frequently get stop errors and need to re boot. The error seems to related to a device driver but the system tells me all devices are working correctly??????
I could try re installing devices but someone out there needs to help me get the CD reader working first.
    Thanks everyone
    I am getting desperate
    Frank

Delete the CD ROM from device manager & reboot. Windows should now (hopefully) redetect it & install drivers.
