Need some info about this dll file [dropcpyr.dll]

    Can anyone tell me what this file is (dropcpyr.dll) ? A search revealed that it is in c:\Windows but this antispyware (SpyCatcher) tells me that this dll may be suspicious as it is an unknown application and described as an "Application Extension ".

    It appears to be related to a virus... W32.Sandalu. Here's some info I found at Symantec. The Symantec link has removal instructions.
    You may want to try an 'online' a/v scanner such as Trend Micro Housecall. If the problem persists, be sure to post back. Also please let us know if this solves the problem.
