e-mail links do nothing?

Whenever someone sends me a link they don't work. The links are good but When I Double click them nothing happens. Nothing at all. Is there a setting I could have overlooked?
I'm using Outlook Express 6.

Have a look at this. Look under hyperlinks in messages stop working. If you need help don't hestitate to ask.

That would be the problem. Firefox seems to have took it over.
