Hooking up your computer TV requires a TV OUT socket on your VGA card.

Hooking to stereo is easy. You would need a cable with RCA jack at one end (2 jacks - one for left & other for right) and mini stereo jack at the other end. The mini stereo jack goes into your sound card out & the RCA jacks go into your stereo.

Have a look at the pictures I've attached to this post. One is a pic of the kind of cable you'll need. There's also a close up pic of the ends so you can get a better look at them. You plug the single end into the line-out on your sound card and end with the two RCA jacks gets plugged into one of the auxillary jacks on the back of your stereo. If your sound card only has a speaker jack and no additional line-out jack, you can purchase a splitter that you plug into your soundcard's speaker jack, and then plug the speakers and the cable for your stereo into it. If you have one of these it'll save you the trouble of having to disconnect your speakers when you want to use the stereo. I've also attached a pic of one of them. You can get the splitter and the cable you need at any Radio Shack, Best Buy or most any electronics store.
