My issue started not to long ago. When I open and email or webpage that has a highlighted link, if I double click it, instead of the link opening in a webpage it opens my mail box. Where do I go reset this so that it opens the intended webpage?

    Thanks

    unconn64 - Welcome to the Board :)

Which version of XP are you using - SP1 or SP2 - this is important if a Repair of IE/OE is recommended at a later date as the methods differ between Service Packs.

First off in Windows Explorer go Tools > Folder Options > File Types and scroll down to HTML - HTML Document and highlight it. In the lower part of the dialogue box it should say Opens with Internet Explorer - does it?

In IE click tools>internet options>programs and then click the reset web settings button. Close IE (and OE if it's open) , then reopen one of them and try a link.
