I don't know what caused this but majority of the text on any internet browser is now italicized. Is there a fix for this and is there a cause on why this happened?

Klit--I fortunately have never had the problem, but here are some ideas
    1) From IE Help (I do not know if other browsers have something similar)
"To display Web page text in a different font

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
On the General tab, click Fonts.
In the Web page font and Plain text font lists, click the fonts you want "
    2) Several, perhaps more generic, ideas here

    3) http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=34951&highlight=italic
If none of the above helps, what version of Windows are you using? Which browsers are involved?

Thanks but none of those solved my problems. I am using Windows XP Pro and anything internet-related is most italics: IE, Firefox, Outlook Express, and Avast update notices. I know this changed a couple of days ago when I started using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003...I have used this program before but it didn't cause this problem.

Klit--Uninstall Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 to see if that really is the problem?
Alternatively, do a System Restore to the date before the problem occurred.

Thanks but I have uninstalled it and Visual Studio was not the problem. I can't perform system restore but I have made changes to my F drive.

A web browser will display a font that is called for in the code of the web document, including html email. The font called for must be installed on the client computer else the browser will use what it thinks is the closest match to the font in the html code. I suspect this issue is caused by a corrupted font or missing font on your comp. Check the c/windows/fonts dir and verify all are there. You may be left w/ only italic versions due to some glitch.

Thanks but I have checked all the fonts and all of them seem to be there.
