computer identifying components on system

    my windows xp will not identify my cd writter or cd writter product so i can install its cd:rolleyes:

    Check your jumpers on the cdRW to make sure that it is slaved or masterd right. At this point are you sure that the drive works? Some tips on software. I have had best luck with Nero Burning ROM 5.5
