Does anyone know of any issues running SKYPE on W2K? My friends laptop keeps getting a SKYPE error message #6101, and the help section is of no help.....

I have already tried that several times. Its difficult because I'm doing this over a telephone.the skype help solution instructions for w2k don't match xp. they (skype) mention this.. they are similar but have errors...the best we are able to do was connect perfectly but it disconnects after 10 or 15 seconds. then the error message pops up. the only thing it might be is that the audio driver needs updating....he's using an older sony vaio laptop PCGF280 with a NEO MAGIC 256AV WDM card...the laptop originally came with win 98...i did a clean install using W2K..sony has all the updated drivers for W2k EXCEPT the audio! anyway all the sound functions work normally but skype may be finicky. the neo magic 256 video card drivers were updated to w2k so they must have updated the audio but sony doesnt have them...i'm having no luck finding any w2k audio drivers. do you have any idea where i might find them?
edit.......i just located an updated driver...will try again tonite.
    thanks,

Success!.............I was lucky to find an updated driver on driverguide, plus in searching for faqs on skype problems and errors they make mention of having a strong enough signal when connecting with wifi (which is how it's being used). if the signal strenth drops below a critical level (about 50%) it will drop the call and give an error message.
