Profiles moved from pc to pc

I moved 7.1 profiles from pc1 (windows98se) to pc2 (winsp home.) I changed the paths, using the moving profile directions, I cannot access my old inbox messages, I have 2 mail account settings, in this profile. Also in the side bar there are many other folders, other than the normal inbox, unsent,drafts,templates,sent and trash. The extra folders start under the trash folder,they include cache, chrome,cookies,etc.

Did you use the instructions at Ramona's website ? If you can find the .slt|Mail|mail account folder on the hard drive location of XP, it should work.
You may want to delete the .msf files, with the program closed, if the folder is there, with all the files. If you don't see it, and you know that XP hides those files, then you did not put the folder in the right place.

 

I went back and reinstalled,using the procedure from the web site, Moving Profiles From PC to PC and/or OS to OS. Everything appears to be working fine.
