web hosting question

    Hi All,
    I would like to create a website to share my poetry (tried poetry.com, but would like complete control), but when i do a search under free web hosting, there are about a million+ sites. can someone suggest a good place? i haven't built a website in about 10 years and that was using a drag and drop program (hot dog, remember that one).

    I would avoid the free sites since they come and go pretty often. Might be able to get some space through your current ISP like I do with Comcast.

    i just saw that cox provides 70mb's webhosting, i think i'm going to use that. thanks for the reply. saved me a hassel.

    And if you have some friends that aren't using theirs.....

    Also look into seeing if they give you more...Comcast for example gives each account six email addresses. Each one of them get 250megs of web space.
