What are these [DFxxx or DFxxxx files]

    Operating System is XP Pro.

    In my C:\Windows\Temp folder I been finding these files.

    DFxxx or DFxxxx.

    They all start with DF followed by various combinations of 3 or 4 letters and numbers.

    There is a set of two made very time I start or restart Windows.

    I found 7 or 8 sets this AM. I had cleaned them out a day or two ago. I am able to delete all but two. ( one set )

    They're Spyguard files, Google for DFxxxx.

    BillyBob--There also are references that they are created by Google Deskbar or Word. Do you run either of those programs (or Spyguard--not to be confused with SpywareGuard)?
    Can you right click|Properties on one of these files to see if you can learn anymore about them?
