Been having a few problems with very slow booting and response for the last few days, thought i'd do a system restore but none of the system checkpoints will allow me to restore. When the computer reboots it states restore incomplete. What can cause this to happen? Is ther a cure? will all futre restore points have the same problem?

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

browner--Of possible help about System Restore
    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=302796
Possible reasons for the slow booting problem
    1) You have too many programs starting at boot.
    2) You need to clean out your Temporary Internet Files.
    3) Spyware
If you need assistance with any of these please post back.

If you keep having problems, you can try reinstalling System Restore. You'll need your XP CD.

Start > Run and type rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf (this assumes Windows installed on your C drive. Change drive letter if needed).
