    Hi
A friend of mine has a problem with minimizing windows. She says everytime she opens a web site and clicks on something, the window is minimized. She has been clicking the maximize but the windows always go back to small. Any help?
    thanks

Havent seen this one personally in 10 years on the job, but suggest first thing to do would be go to the Options area under the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, go to the Advanced tab and choose Restore Defaults. Thats a start....

Oh and you will need to shut down and reopen IE for the change to take affect....

Do you mean they open in a normal (small) window and you need to click the box in the upper right corner of the window to maximize it? Or, do they open totally minimized to the taskbar and you have to click the button on the taskbar to bring it up? If it's the first one, open an IE window, right click on a link and choose open in a new window. Then put your cursor on the edge of the new window (the cursor will change to an arrow pointing both directions) and drag it so it fits the whole screen. Then, close the FIRST window you opened, then close the second one. Then try it again and see if the new windows open the way you want.

thank you, both of you for the answers. I will have her try the first one and then get back to you. I have to ask her about the second reply that I received and find out from her. Thank you both so much, I will post as soon as I can get through to her. :) :)
