Apps not getting to SysTray

    New C-drive, new install XP-Pro-sp2,
    numerous program reinstalls never show up in
    systray, just in TaskMgr, so no way to set options.

    Contacted several app-support and get nothing useful.
    "Something is interfering with the systray" or "explorer ".
    DUH!
