At times it is easier to paste a window with its contents into a reply or quote in order to clarify the issue. Is this possible in WindowsBBS? if so how?

Igbest: Yes, it's possible, and easy. Here's how: highlight and copy in the usual way the text you want, then click on the BBS window to get the cursor working there, and then use your keyboard's Ctrl + V to paste the text into the window. Try that and see if it works for you.

Or, right click|copy, and right click|paste

Hi Westside - i'm trying to print an image (a window in XP) to a thread in this forum. However, using copy paste doesn't work, nor does function+print screen >paste. am I doing something wrong?

    Graham,

I answered this question in your other thread:
    http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=51246

You must be a subscribing member in order to be able to upload an image to the Forum. It's not possible to copy/paste an image, as it must be uploaded first.

I believe BOBBO and Westside thought you were referring to text.
