Sun Java error

    Hi to all,

    I uninstalled my old version of Sun Java and installed the newest version. Now when I go to play Bookworm from Yahoo, Java does not load and I get the message: "loading java applet failed" In Java, I do have the Use Browser Settings selected.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Jeane--Look in IE Tools|Internet Options|Advanced tab. What does it say under Java? Is the Java box checked?
    And do run the Java test suggested by Pete C.
    What version of Windows do you use?

    Thank you both for your help. The links were very informative. I do have the MSVM and the most current version of Java. I am running Win 2000 pro. After setting and resetting options, the Java seems to be working now.
