    I have experienced problems with my MusicMatch Jukebox. It became corrupt and totally fried my external harddrive with about 90 gigs of music/pics. I lost all of those files and had to reformat the drive as well as go into my PC's BIOS and mess around in there. Finally I uninstalled MusicMatch and reinstalled a new version only to have this message appear when I try to add tracks to the library.
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Program: C:\Program Files\MusicMatch\MusicMatch Jukebox\mmjb.exe

    This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the apllication's support team for more info.

    This error will not allow me to add tracks to my library or even play/rip tracks from my cd's.

    If anyone knows how to correct this or has experienced similar problems please help me out. It definately ***** not being able to access music or get it onto my IPod.

    Thanks

    destroy1369 - Welcome to the Board :)

    I cannot guarantee that this solution will work, but it has for others ....

    Uninstall MusicMatch Jukebox.

    Download RegSeeker and search the registry for all references to MusicMatch and delete them - be sure that the backup before deletion box is checked.

    Reboot

    Reinstall MusicMatch Jukebox.

    Hey thanks for replying. I ran the regseeker and wow, there were 719 problems found. How do I know what to correct and what to leave alone? I don't want to mess my computer up anymore than it already seems to be.

    Sounds like you ran 'Clean the Registry' - not 'Search the Registry' for MusicMatch - screenshot. Check all keys and 'match whole word'

    Leave those 'problems' alone they are unlikely to cause you any grief and it's much safer that way :)

    Ok so I ran the search for musicmatch and found 40 problems. Now do I select them and delete them?

    Yes delete them all - as I posted before make sure that the 'backup before deletion' box is checked.
