Moving Norton

    Hello, I renewed Norton Antivirus from their site, to my main computer.That went fine but how do I transfer It Into my laptop for that has expired too. Shouldn't have to buy It twice.:rolleyes:

    snookie--I am not sure. You would have to read the Norton license to know how many PC's your renewal is good for. It may be for just one PC.
    You may still be able to get the Norton virus definition updates for your laptop free here

    No guarantees. But you will not be able to use Live Update, which means you will not get updates to the program, itself, which in the short run may not be a big deal.

    P.S. If you manually download the latest virus definitions to your licensed PC using the link I mentioned above, I am almost certain you can transfer and install the downloaded file to your laptop. This may or may not be legal. In any event you will not get program updates.

    Last year I bought the dvd and just downloaded It Into each. Should have spent more for the both puters.
