Int. Explorer "disconnects"; task bar shows connected

    At random times, Interner Explorer is "unable to connnect to internet" etc.
    Task bar icon shows connection still in place with clock running. I have to shut down and restart to go out on the net.

    how are u connected? cable/dsl/modem

    do u have aol or any similar service?

    have u scanned the system for hijacks/bad_guys?
