Quick Launch Won't Stay Put

    I have lost the ability to retain my quick launch settings. I unlock the task bar, select "quick launch ", icons appear, re-lock task bar and quick launch functions normally until I re-boot or re-start. In other words, I loose my quick launch settings each time I start my computer.
