Cant see taskbar minimised buttons

    Hi guys

    great site.

    Not a disaster but I cant see the minimised taskbar buttons of minimised windows in the taskbar. :confused:

    I have been all over the taskbar properties, and have made sure 'show minimised windows' bit is active but to no avail. Only way I can reactivate an open window is by opening the task manager and re-clicking the relevant operation.

    All assitance greatly received.

    Hi boshly - Welcome to the Board :)

    There's a vb script here under T - Taskbar - 'Minimised programs missing' which will hopefully solve your problem.

    Thanks Pete, hopefully it will help but can you please let me know what I need to do with it? I have downloaded it onto my desk top and tried to open it to no avail.

    As it says on the tin: "beginner" - it sure means what it says.

    Double click on vbs file to run - if it won't run from the Desktop move it to My Documents or somewhere similar and run it from there.
