I had a problem with a couple of sites on ie6 with the page could not be displayed coming up all the time, but could access these through firefox. I folowed tge eldergeeks advice in another thread and ran the sfc /scannow. This told me " files that are required for windows to run properly must be copied to the DLL cache" please insert service pack 2 cd. I have done this and it is still asking for these files. My computer freezes quite a lot. I have been having this problem for a few weeks. Should I just give up ,wipe everything and re-install XP. I am running Pentium 3 with XP Pro service pack 2 using Windows firewall. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi pammy2301 - Its always better and efficient to wipe everything and reinstall WinXP. It would cure many headaches and your computer would run much faster.
