    Hello Everyone,

My first post. I'll try to keep it brief and direct.

I am trying to set up an Active Directory network at my house for test preperation purposes. I have installed Windows Server 2003 and have Active Directory installed and configured for domain "HOMEDOM" and I have DNS and DHCP activated also. Also, the OS is the trial edition.

My issue. I have a laptop which I want to join this domain to. Prior to setting up the server I had this laptop with a user account name "oshman ". I have created a user account for oshman in A.D.- when I try to login to the domain from the login screen it stalls out with a little box saying "loading personal settings ". I have waited at least 10 minutes for it to load and nothing happens. How ever, when I login locally, using "oshman ", I am able to access all network resources after using the A.D. after being prompted login info.

    Any help is greatly appreciated
