Drivers' problem

Hello

I bought a scanner Umax PageOffice IIC wich works well ,but there is one big problem:no
drivers for XP.I've searched the web for some days,but didn't find anything.Bottom line is that
Umax didn't create drivers for XP.I've installed W98SE as my second OS( the drivers for 95
work with W98SE),but you know... it's a little stupid to have a second OS just for a scanner
I've read somewhere that in certain condition,2 OS can be arranged as host and guest,but I
really don't know if this is possible that XP installed on NTFS can host W98 which is installed on FAT32.Can somebody help me with this?My goal is just to work with my scanner while using XP.

Maybe you want to tell us how you installed 98SE as a second operating system with XP running on NTFS.

 

Hello

While XP partition is hidden,I can install W98SE.
My HDD was partitioned,I've allocated 6 GB for XP
made another DOS primary partition FAT32 of 2 GB
for W98SE and just used an older W98SE ghost image.Then I could install my scanner.

My brother had (repeat had) Umax Scanner but gave it up when he bought win2k. Why? No drivers. Umax told him to buy the latest and greatest Umax scanner. His reponse give scanner to parents who are still running Win98se and buy new HP Scanner.
