This is happening sometimes to a friend of mine. She lives in the US and her daughter lives in Paris. She has Win XP.

    She says that
" What does it mean "Character set conflict "? I've gotten that several times (specially when replying to my daughter in Paris) and it asks if I want to send it as "regular" or something like "encoded" or go back and edit."

I have sort of become her go to person for any PC problems she has. Not sure what to tell her here, other then that she should make sure her character encoding set is set to Western Europe (ISO) - I am not sure what that gets her but I know that is what I use in Outlook and OE.

    Thanks,
    Jorjab
