I was trying to fix something which is posted on another thread in Windows XP Forum(Replacing My Documents on My Computer Menu List). That's how I found this problem. It's letting me preform the restore but not creating the Undo My Last Restore.

But know that doing so will delete all existing restore points...

I know about turning off SR but I really don't want to delete the exisisting restore points just yet.

    Hello lj50,

One reason SR may not be giving you the "undo" option - the space allocated to System Volume Information is filled to the maximum which is 12% of Drive space. Neither XP or WinME handle this situation well.

To make room: right click on My Computer > Properties > System Restore tab and for the Monitored drive > settings. Move the slider left to 6% and reboot. This will make room for the Restore Operation. Afterwards, reset the slider back to 12%.

    Regards - Charles
