How to silence beep on Windows Start

    There is a switch to shut off the horrible Bleep that you get when Win ME boots. On my Dell Inspiron it is loud and very distracting. I have found the swith years ago but now have lost the info. Because of a Windows reload I need that info again.

    Some one please help!!

    Click Here to open a page with a link to download TweakUI. Installation instructions are on that page since TweakUI doesn't install the usual way. It will place an icon in the Control Panel.

    Once installed, open it, go to the General tab and turn off "Beep on Errors. "
