Using the version 1.7.6[http://www.lpj-software.com/] and creating a slide show with 145 .jpg photos and 5 .mp3 songs, the .ini file is set to play random=false, play once=true. Works fine when created in Window Explorer -- the slide show ends and the music ends at the same time and the timing is perfect, but when the files are burned to a CD the timing is different on every computer it is played on and none are the same as when the program is run in Windows Explorer.:( I have used Nero and BurnQuick burning programs with the same results on each[burning as data]. Is this just inherent to burning slide shows or am I doing something wrong? I am trying to get it so the slide show does not end in the middle of a song but does not start over again.
Some cumputers use XP and some 98SE. I even tried to join all the mp3 files into one file but the results was the same[on one burn the songs in the single file did not play in the order they were created]. http://www.download3000.com/download_7476.html
I try to burn CD's for family with pictures of get togethers and reunions.
    Any ideas?

Slide Shows to CD or DVD

    ;) ;) Slipshot,

I used to use LPJ also but whe sending to friends --- because it was an .exe , most weren't sure weather to open it or not and if it was going to a
business or network, no one dared to open it !!

I got and have been using ProShow Gold by PhotoDex. I love it and it is worth the money. It has a slight learning curve, but the results are great.

The hardest part is finding music to go with the show-s. If you don't want music, you can also narrate it !

    I'm running WinXP media edition , 2gig ram .

You can check it out here.......

    Good luck,

    Sam,
Thanks for the come back. I am not against buying something and will look at the link. I had a program from Magix, it would of been OK but limited the number of photos to 99. I have alot of the ones I have done and have 145 to 160 photos in them and 6 to 8 mp3's as background. I don't know what is changing my timing on the LPJ slideshow I burn.

Windows Movie Maker 2.1 (Free download)
Do not know if you are running XP, is a requirement for this program.
Very simple program to run. Everything can be "Drag and Drop.
For your project, you will have two "Time Lines ".
Keep adding pictures to top view / adjust frame change speed as you add music / audio clips to the bottom Time line. Can add movie clips / include special effects. Finished project can be emailed or burned to CD / DVD.
