Since restoring a Paragon backup recently, whenever I boot up, the New Hardware wizard pops up demanding to be allowed to check for updates. Any ideas as to how I can stop this happening? It never happened before, even after I had installed a brand new (different) motherboard!

    Tony King--What's a Paragon?
    System Restore?

    Hi Welshjim -
Thanks for your response. 'Paragon' is the backup program published by Paragon Software - it's a good program, backs up the whole of the hard drive.
However, this is sackcloth and ashes time. I just realised that the backup I restored was taken BEFORE I changed my motherboard, hence two drivers were wrong!! Having updated these from the motherboard CD all is now fine.
