ebbourg--.art files are compressed AOL image files, and few programs other than AOL will open them.
If someone is sending you the .art file, suggest they convert it to a .jpg or .gif before sending.
If you can right click on the image and get a Save As option, do so and Save as .jpg or .gif. You then may be able to view the saved image.
If that does not work, try saving the .art file as an .art file, and try opening the saved .art file in Internet Explorer.

I am the owner of a pic exchange club. This member is a valued poster, but no amount of harangueing has been able to make him take 3 extra seconds and attach his pics instead of embedding them. I can view them when moderating at the yahoo homepage, but once downloaded by Outlook they are just big red x. Thanks, I was hoping for a add-on to Outlook that would help this. I'm familiar with your suggestions.

Just trying to save myself a few seconds. I can view them on the yahoo homepage. But I download my email with Outlook and I'd like to be able to view them that way. Guess I'll have to stick with the long way home!

    Thanks and no regrets necessary!
