Lost xp cd have coa need to reinstall OS

    I have the coa for my windows xp is ther somewhere I can download a copy of xp if I have my coa number, or do i need to order it on-line.

    Any help would be appreciated,Daniel

    Any XP installation disk will work provided you use the same version as on the COA i.e. Pro or Home. Ask a friend for their disk or a copy of it.

    If you order one from somewhere you will have to pay for a full licenced version which will include a COA. If it comes to the worst buy another one copy the disk and resell it cos you won't need the licence.

    Hello Daniel,

    No, you can't download a copy of XP.

    Best bet is to get in touch with the OEM.
