i have a dvd which i need to make a backup of it to another DVD. Now i do only have a DvD Writer and a CD Rom. Is it possible that i will make a copy of this DVD using a software such as clone dvd or nero, since i can't put the source dvd and an empty dvd at one time in the pc ?

    Thank You

There should be no problem with just a single drive ....

In Nero select DVD copy - Nero will copy the DVD to a temp folder on your hard drive, eject the DVD and then ask for blank media to which it will then burn the copy.

Copying from one drive to another is called 'on the fly' - I never use it as it does rather depend on the read spead of the source drive being adequate - often it is not - my experience at least :) I always copy to the hard drive and then burn from there. That's for data CD/DVD's - films generally have copy protection.
