I have inherited a lot of DBF files and I do not have the dBase program anymore. Is there a way I can see the data in these files to determine if they are worth saving or not?

    DBF files

You can 'attach' or import most dbf files into Microsoft Access. Somtimes you can view them with Excel but Excel seems picky about the actual dbf format - there are several minor variations of the format.

Or if you just want to view them, you might check out the 30-day trial of DBF Viewer 2000 at -->
