    Hi All,

Yesterday I removed Norton System Works from my machine and installed Zone Alarm Security Suite as an upgrade from Zapro. On the first scan ZASS reported three instances of Win32.Netsky.P which could not be treated or removed. Neither the Symantec or McAfee removal tool could clean them up, and ZASS still reports them.
I have to presume that Norton had already either neutralised or quarantined these worms, and that ZASS is only finding remnants that the removal tools can't identify. Any suggestions as to how I could locate these annoying bits?
I have no worries about Netsky doing its stuff because my mail program is Poco which is immune to anything written in VB or Java script.

    Hi Roger,

    Download Ewido http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

Don't enable the real time features - just as a scanner, that part is free. Use the update option before scanning.

If it finds something, it'll actually tell you where it is.

    Regards - Charles

    Good evening Charles,

Ewido found nothing, so like I said I think that ZASS is reporting traces left behind. Thanks for the link.
