Where do I find my "Computer ID"?

I've just bought a new copy of Sony Vegas. Besides entering the serial number, it needs me to enter the computer ID of my system. I can't find this so called "Computer ID ", anyone know were to find it in Win XP?

 

I've gone through the manuals, both printed and online, but can't find a thing.

I did find this site however:

But it talks about a computer name.

I thought your computer ID is just a heap of scrambled numbers and letters, just like a serial?

I did a Google on Computer ID. Doubt it will be much help but came up with

It seems to be specific to several different programs, not the PC.
