Disable Balloon Tips?

    I have these balloons tips that show off when I move my cursor over some shortcuts on my Quick Launch Bar. Example.
    " Internet Explorer
    Finds and displays information and Web sites on the internet "
    I know how to shorten the top line. I would like to erase the bottom line. I have used all the registry edits that I found on "Kellys XP Corner. No change. Nothing fatal, but very annoying. Will appreciate any help.
    By the way, I like the new look, on this site.

    Hi wahlroot

    If it's a shortcut,
    Try this. Right Click on the icon and select properties.
    Click the shortcut tab.
    Remove the entries in the Comment: field
    and click Apply.

    Wow!!! No wonder I could not find the Fix. It was right in front of me. Thanks a bunch "picard ". That did it.
