I am new to this BBS, but here goes:
I upgraded my processor, motherboard and memory (AMD Anthlon 64 -3200, Gigabyte - Socket 939, AGP 8X, etc., 2 x 512k Kensington DDR chips. I have a CDRW, DVD_RW, and a Seagate 102 MB harddrive that is being reused (no problems with these units before). I have tried to load a new copy of Windows XP Home and am unable to get a clean install (various error messages - IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA (3 times), "Bios in this system is not fully ACPI Compliant ". I have tried re-seating the memory in different slots, a different hard drive and few other things. Has anyone run into these kinds of problems after a hardware upgrade? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi lamudman and welcome.

New install as in boot from the CD, format the drive, install?

The sorts of errors you are seeing could easily be driver issues if the drive hasn't been formatted, hardware issues with the new board, bad memory stick, or several other things.
